Our Support Partners
Octans works with trusted partners that help our clients save on prescriptions, access services, and get more value from their coverage. Here is who we work with and how each partnership helps you.
How Our Support Partners Help Clients
Our support partners are community organizations Octans supports, from youth mentoring and children’s health care to housing services and independent local journalism. Supporting them never changes which policy we recommend.
- We support community organizations through giving.
- Partnerships do not affect our recommendations.
- Ask us how a partner program applies to you.

Why Does Octans Support These Partners?
Life insurance is about protecting families and communities. Supporting youth mentoring, children’s health care, housing services, and independent local journalism reflects that same goal. Read more on our Giving Back page.

Can You Support a Charity Through Life Insurance?
Yes. You can name a charity as a beneficiary, donate an existing policy, or buy a new policy owned by a charity. See our guide to donating life insurance to charity.

How Can You Get Involved With Our Support Partners?
Each of our support partners welcomes volunteers and donations. Big Brothers Big Sisters matches adult mentors with young people; St. Jude accepts donations for children’s care and research; the Boston Kroc Center and Haven for Hope offer volunteer shifts; and the nonprofit newsrooms rely on reader memberships.
If you would like to support a cause through your own coverage, you can name a charity as a beneficiary. Our licensed agents can explain how that works with the policy you choose, at no cost to you.
We review our support partners each year and add organizations our clients and agents care about. If you know a community group doing important work in one of the 19 states we serve, tell us about it at life@octansinsurance.com.
